Good News Cafe's Iced Coffee's what gets me through each day
I think studying in the library's effective too, that accounts for my frequent visits with the usual people.
Right now, there's NO time to waste, I'd give anything to have one more week, or even one more day because it's 80 days to As,
it's closer than ever now
Numbers are important for things like these to wake me up.
It's less than 3 months, less than 12 weeks, less than 24x7x12 hours to major exams.
I need lots of coffee to survive this

HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!
I'm updating because i pinky-promised shuning =) hello! see, I kept it
[ SUPER LONG POST AHEAD! ]
yesterday was rocking
it was national day celebrations as all students should know and we headed to school in red shirt and jeans as asked to by the school. Yea, tell me about it. But of course there were some who rebelled and wore white or shorts. But practically the whole world was a sea of red. I was early, so I waited with marcus for sheila to arrive.
I became grumpy once we got to the track because the sun showed no mercy adding to the fact that I was wearing double layer. We had math double lecture and then it was on to games. I thought it was a nice change from the normal performance-singing-go home kinda celebrations.

It's surprising that we could even get tickets considering the we're at tm AND it's the 2nd day of screening for SPIDERMAN 3!
So goes us, the movie gang once again. Nazeeya, Jiten, Debb, Janice, Umairah and me. Since we had only half an hour to get the tix and food, we could only get finger food & front row seats which was a really bad idea. Note to self: Even in crucial situations, never resort to seats that give you bad back and neckaches. BUT of course, the show paid off well. Excluding the part where Spidey cries and we get all teary. That's not all, his face gets scrunched up till it looks bloated and then Umairah starts to burst out in laughter that was so contagious we couldnt help it too. That was sooo anti-climax, people around us were going shhh. Thinking back, it was pretty hilarious, cos we were the only bozos there lol-ing, while the rest of the theatre was filled with sob sounds.
I'd say, the effects was quite fantastic, but the plot was a little uhmm. I mean, emo-peter? Since when? But overall it was a good 2 hours and 8 bucks spent, i'm not complaining. I still wonder if there's a Spidey 4. Well, we'll have to wait and see. For now, i'm gonna save for Pirates 3! |
